Captain Paul

Hi There I'm Paul, Skipper / Owner of Osprey II. I am married to Angie with our three children – Lee Nicky & Kerrie.

Fishing has been my life, my dad used to take me fishing at a very young age, and all my working life i have always wanted to have my own charter boat so at 50 i have taken the plunge.

So i left my job in England but before i left i used to fish, in the Liverpool area for over 17 years, with my original boat Osprey and have recently purchased my second namely Osprey II which i am fishing with over here in Spain. I have been fishing here in Guardamar for the last 3 years and have no regrets, great weather, great fishing and great people.

I have my Yacht Masters Certificate combined with my powerboat level 2, Commercially Endorsed, Radar, Radio licence, First aid, and sea survival certificate’s. I am also a member of the RYA so you are in good safe hands.

Identification:
Upper body dark blue or black, lower sides can be golden and silvery belly.
Sail and body spotted with light and dark blue spots. Verticalblue bands on upper body.
Very high dorsal fin (highest in center), 'V'–shaped tail and very long pelvic fins.
Straight and slender lower jaw, and a long slender bill.
Fishing Methods:
Trolling strip bait, often in combination with plastic squid.
Trolling surface lures.
Trolling or drifting live bait mullet or mackerel.
Deep trolling baits or lures.
Fighting Characteristics:
A spectacular jumper with very fast surface run (Recorded 113 km/h).
